OSU has launched a new mentoring program to strengthen faculty and students relationships, with the goal of improving student retention and graduation rates.
The College of Science is delighted to have two doctoral students among the 24 young scientists and engineers selected as 2017 ARCS Foundation Oregon scholars.
Twenty five percent of freshmen are the first in their family to attend college, 23 percent are underrepresented minorities, and the College has the highest ever number of high achieving students in this incoming class: 37.6 percent.
