The Erlenmeyer Flask is a clearinghouse for announcements made to the Department of Chemistry. It includes funding opportunities, internships, events happening around campus and other items that may be of interest to our faculty, staff and students.
Ensuring that the Department of Chemistry remains a safe place to work is the collective responsibility of all members of the organization. These web pages provide important safety guidelines and outline safety related policies currently in force. The departmental safety committee welcomes comments regarding safety policy and also requests the reporting of all accidents and incidents (near misses, unsafe practices, etc.) occurring in connection to the activities of the Department of Chemistry.
The Chemistry Fall Awards Ceremony in conjunction with the Fall Picnic welcomes students, staff and faculty back to the university for the upcoming academic year, and acknowledges the teaching and service of our faculty, staff and TAs.
In addition to these departmental awards, the College of Science holds a combined awards ceremony during winter term to honor faculty and staff around the College who have demonstrated excellence in their research and teaching endeavors.
