This course is offered online. OSU Ecampus assists students with the selection of an approved examination proctor in their local community.

Since prior completion of one of the following sequences

  • CH 121, CH 122 and CH 123; or
  • CH 221, CH 222, and CH 223; or

is an institutional/departmental requirement for enrollment in CH 331, the chemistry department asks that all prospective students, both degree-seeking and non-degree seeking students, provide documentation verifying completion of the course prerequisites. The prerequisite override mechanism enables the department to accommodate students who have completed their general chemistry prerequisites at another institution.

CH 332 - Organic Chemistry II

This course is offered online. OSU Ecampus assists students with the selection of an approved examination proctor in their local community.

The course prerequisites for CH 332 include the completion of a full year of general chemistry with labs plus the equivalent of CH 331. All prospective students, either degree seeking or non-degree seeking, should provide documentation to the chemistry department verifying completion of these prerequisites. The department can then issue an override for students who have completed these courses at another institution.

CH 337 - Organic Chemistry Laboratory

This course will be offered as a hybrid online/on-site format during summer term; the on-site portion on the OSU campus is the sequence's practical laboratory component and includes lecture. All exams will be given on campus.

Please note: CH 337 will not be offered Summer Term in 2023. We look forward to returning to our regular schedule in 2024.

The course prerequisites for CH 337 include the completion of a full year of general chemistry with labs plus the equivalent of CH 331 and CH 332. All prospective students, either degree seeking or non-degree seeking, should provide documentation to the chemistry department verifying completion of these prerequisites.
